Standard Wooden Pallet Designs

At SS Pallets, we offer two common types of flat pallets for material handling and shipping: stringer pallets and block pallets.

Stringer Pallets are constructed with two or three parallel runners, known as “stringers,” that support the top and bottom deck boards. These pallets are generally less expensive and lighter than block pallets, making them a cost-effective option. However, they may not be as durable or capable of supporting as much weight.

Block Pallets, on the other hand, are made with solid, square blocks between the top and bottom decks, providing enhanced stability and support. These pallets are typically stronger and able to support heavier loads. Due to their robust construction, block pallets can be more expensive but offer greater durability and load-bearing capacity.

At SS Pallets, we take pride in offering high-quality stringer and block pallets that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our pallets are crafted with precision and care, ensuring they meet industry standards for durability and performance. Whether you require pallets for storage, shipping, or specific industry applications, SS Pallets provides solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.
